Quark HOW 2010 Flash Design Competition
Magic is in the air. To coincide with the 2010 HOW Design Conference taking place in Denver this June, you have the opportunity to show the world you have the magic touch by creating and submitting a Flash project produced using QuarkXPress 8. This could be anything from a Website, banner advertisement or presentation through to a compelling animation or interactive experience.
The winner will be announced during a QuarkXPress 8, HOW-hosted Webcast, being held on July, 7, 2010.

How Do I Enter?
To enter you’ll need to either submit an SWF file created with QuarkXPress 8 or upload an image or images of the Flash design work and provide a link to the work online. Voting will begin on Sunday, June 6, 2010 in conjunction with the start of the HOW conference. Designers do not need to attend the HOW conference to enter the contest and can submit their Flash projects right up to June 30, 2010. However, because submissions can be rated online throughout the competition, the longer a submission is showcased the better chance it will have of attracting the popular vote.
All you need to do is sign in to ilovedesign.com and upload the work you’d like to enter into the competition. If you haven’t registered for ilovedesign.com yet, visit www.ilovedesign.com/register. The deadline for entries is June 30, 2010 but ratings by ilovedesign.com members will commence immediately so don’t delay – registration is free so enter the competition today!

Entry is open to members of ilovedesign.com. You may submit multiple entries. The competition closes on June 30, 2010 and the winner will be announced on July 7, 2010. Quark reserves the right to promote the winning designs and entries through a variety of marketing channels including but not limited to www.flash8magic.com and www.ilovedesign.com. Only projects created using the Interactive Layout Space in QuarkXPress 8 will be eligible.
