The fifth edition of the International Design Biennial in Liège (1st – 24th October 2010) launches a call for projects for its main exhibition “Design Nature”. This exhibition will take place in the Musée de la Vie wallonne, Espace Saint-Antoine, a desacralized church of more than 1000 square meters, situated in the historical heart of Liège.
This call for projects is meant for all designers, architects, interior designers, persons in charge of a studio or a company working in the areas such as: furniture, lamps, everyday object or decorative object, fabrics or fashion design. All materials are accepted.
In 2010, the theme is Nature. This is a very large concept: flora and fauna as well as organic, biomorphism, zoomorphism, anthropomorphism or biomimicry. The selection of the works, presented in the form of an original scenography, will be made by a jury composed of design specialists. During the Biennial, this jury will offer the “Prize of the Biennial” (value: 4000€) to one or several designers taking part in the main exhibition.
